What is the Space Rental Agreement?

It's an agreement that clearly outlines the expectations between whoever is renting the space out and whoever is using it and deals with liability.  It outlines the terms, what is being paid, how long the lease or rental is for, makes sure there is proper insurance coverage, a deposit for damages, and if there are further requirements if the one renting the space is an uncertified teacher.  

Who is the Space Rental Agreement for?

This is for a business that rents or leases their space, or part of their space. This is to be used between a landlord and a tenant.  Whether you own a yoga studio, pilates studio, cross fit box, massage space, you will need this if you plan on renting out part or all of your space.

What happens if you don't have it?

If you don't have it, you can be held liable if someone gets injured while using a space that you have leased out to someone else, you don't control the rules for the use of the space, if your equipment gets damaged you'll have to pay damages, you don't have clear rules on what can and can't be changed, and you won't have power to evict your tenant for breaking the rules.
